Ice forecasts for the eastern waters of Newfoundland and Labrador
issued by Environment Canada at 10:00 a.m. EST Sunday 10 December
2017 for today tonight and Monday.
The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 10:00 a.m. Monday.

Ice edge estimated from Labrador near 5210N 5540W to 5305N 5520W to
5430N 5640W to 5600N 6025W to 5750N 6130W to 6030N 6355W to 6045N
6250W then northward. Sea ice west of the ice edge.

Strait of Belle Isle - western half.
Open water.

Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half
Belle Isle Bank
South Labrador Sea.
Bergy water.

South Labrador Coast
Mid Labrador Coast
North Labrador Coast.
Bergy water except 8 tenths of new ice including 2 tenths of grey
ice in some bays.

Lake Melville.
9 tenths of new ice including 2 tenths of grey ice except 9 plus
tenths of grey ice in extreme southwestern section.

South Coast
Southwestern Grand Banks
Southeastern Grand Banks
East Coast
Northern Grand Banks
Northeast Coast
